  2. I know some parts of the site have changed, but I still see the same pages and the same content. Why?
  3. When I look at the pictures section, some of the pictures look like they're cut off. What happened?
  4. How do I submit a picture that I would like to see added to the website?
  5. I've found a link that doesn't work, some spelling and/or grammatical errors, or all of the above. Who should I let know about this?

  1. Most web browsers store (or "cache") a copy of the web pages you visit, so that if you visit them again, they will load faster. However, loading the cached copy loads the same page as when you last visited - the page may have since changed. This may be the case when you visit the View Guestbook Entries page after submitting an entry.

The View Guestbook Entries page is designed to prevent browsers from caching a copy of it, but occasionally this may not work. If you believe this may be the case, you can force your browser to load the current copy from the internet, replacing the cached copy. To do this, press and hold the CTRL on your keyboard and click the "REFRESH" or "RELOAD" button on your browser. If this doesn't work, consult the help menu for your specific browser. You may also clear your browser's cache, which is where all the cached pages are stored. Consult your browser's help documentation for instructions on how to clear the cache.

  2. This is the same issue as addressed in question #1. Please see the the answer for question #1.

  3. This, again, is due to caching. If, before the image is finished loading, you click on a link or button to another page or picture, the image stops loading. The browser caches the page at that point - with the image only partially loaded. To correct the problem, refer to the steps outlined in question #1 to force your browser to load the cuurent copy of the page, then wait for the image to finish loading.

  4. If you would like to submit a picture for addition to the www.paulgriegojr.com website, simply email it to webmaster@paulgriegojr.com. Ensure the picture is attached to your e-mail, and please make sure that you type "Picture for Paul's site" in the subject line of your e-mail. In the body of your e-mail, let the webmaster know that you would like the picture added to the site.

There is limited space on this website, so please note that not all pictures will be added. Content, size, quality and many other factors will be considered when determining if the picture will be added. Also, once received, the webmaster will reserve the right to crop or otherwise edit the picture to conserve space and/or bandwidth.

  5. Please send a report of any errors you find on the site to:webmaster@paulgriegojr.com. Please be as detailed as possible concerning your report, providing the issue and the exact page on which it is located. Thank you!
